Today’s market sets eyes on ecological alternatives for everyday products we use. Dyne-a-Pak in partnership with Natureworks™ has developed trays made of renewable resources with a lower carbon footprint. Made from plants, this biopolymer uses 60% less fossil fuel energy in its production and generates 75% fewer greenhouse gases, compared to conventional petroleum based polymers. Density and performance are comparable to standard foam trays. The New “Dyne A Pak Nature” Meat trays are clearly a more sustainable form of food packaging and a step in the right direction. Dyne-a-pak Nature Trays meet ASTM-6400 standards for municipal composting as certified by BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute).
